Caregiver advisor for Montreal East territory

Reporting to the Clinical Services Coordinator, the Caregiver Counsellor is an integral part of the Alzheimer Society of Montreal’s Réseau-conseil team. The person’s mission will be to accompany caregivers of people with a neurocognitive disorder throughout their journey, and more specifically to provide them with individual psychosocial support, information and resources for coping with daily challenges. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing links with local community resources to facilitate local access to services.

Clinical Services Coordinator

The Alzheimer Society of Montréal is looking for someone with experience in social work, psychology or social intervention with people living with a neurocognitive disorder and family caregivers to fill the position of Clinical Services Coordinator.
Are you organised, enjoy team management and are you creative when it comes to optimising internal processes? Do you have specific knowledge of neurocognitive disorders and do you want to make a difference in your community?

TEAM LEADER OF THE PERMANENT ACTIVITY CENTER

Reporting to the Coordinator of Respite and Stimulation Services in Activity Centres, the person’s mandate will be to design stimulating and therapeutic activities for people living with a neurocognitive disorder, while enabling the caregiver to benefit from a period of respite. In addition, the person will supervise the operational activities of the permanent activity center and support the therapeutic activity specialists’ team in its practice.

Therapeutic Activity Specialist

Reporting to the Activity Centre Respite and Stimulation Services Coordinator, the role of the person in question will be to design stimulating and therapeutic activities for people living with a neurocognitive disorder, while at the same time enabling the family carer to benefit from a period of respite. The job is located at the Alzheimer Society of Montréal’s permanent activity centre.
