Here are some examples of third-party fundraising events:

“You’re Not in this Alone” — Fundraising Supper

For years, Maria Di Giovanni has organized a fundraising supper in honour of her husband, Stefano Di Giovanni, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2007.

This year, the Di Giovanni family has been joined by the Iacono family in their efforts to raise awareness about the reality of Alzheimer’s for people living with the disease and their families. Last year, the Iacono’s matriarch was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, which inspired the family to increase their involvement with “You’re Not in this Alone.”
