Stimulating activities with a person-centered approach
Located in the South West borough of Montreal, our permanent activity center is secure, spacious, welcoming and entirely designed for the needs of people living with a neurocognitive disorder and their caregivers and families.
The participants are accompanied by qualified and trained staff, enabling them to communicate and have a greater understanding of the needs of people living with neurocognitive disorders.
Useful information :
- In order to provide a person-centered approach, an evaluation will be required to determine and adequately respond to the needs of the person living with a neurocognitive disorder.
- Participants will be responsible for bringing a cold lunch. Snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
- Transportation is not included. However, we can provide you with support in identifying the available resources.
- It is possible that you will be put on a waiting list.

A variety of stimulating activities
- Cognitive Activities: virtual travel, reminiscence, trivia, crosswords, singing, board games, puzzles, card games, etc.
- Exercise: chair exercises with weights, stretching, chair yoga, balloon racket, dancing…
- Art Activities: painting, stained glass, collages, masks, decorations, clay and wood projects, etc.
- Sensory Stimulation: baking, flower arranging, sorting and matching, sensory kits, etc.
- Physical Activities: darts, shuffleboard, bowling, beanbags, etc.
