Art Therapy for People Living With A Neurocognitive Disorder

Art therapy workshops for people living with a neurocognitive disorder promote self-expression in a therapeutic setting. Every participant can use their creativity according to their interests and abilities, using various artistic media. Art therapy provides a judgment-free space where individual strengths are highlighted, with professional support from trained and recognized art therapists.

Free professional counselling services are available for people living with Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment, or a related form of a neurocognitive disorder, starting from the moment of diagnosis. During these sessions, a counsellor dedicated to your cognitive health will support you through the changes and challenges you are experiencing. Information, support and resources will be provided to you.

These centres offer stimulating therapeutic activities to people living with a neurocognitive disorder. The Permanent Activity Centre currently offers three (3) full days of activities per week. These welcoming and adapted facilities allow caregivers a few hours of respite during activities led by trained and professional staff.
