Reporting to the Coordinator of Respite and Stimulation Services, the incumbent will be responsible for designing engaging and therapeutic activities for individuals living with neurocognitive disorders, while allowing caregivers to benefit from a period of respite.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design activities for individuals living with neurocognitive disorders (person-centered care approach)
- Deliver individual or group interventions at the St-Henri Saturday activity center
- Assist clients with activities of daily living
- Write regular reports on interventions and clients’ progress
- Participate in team meetings to discuss cases and collaborate with other therapeutic activity specialists

Required Qualifications:
- Interest in recreation, leisure intervention, therapeutic recreation, special education, gerontology, health, or social work, OR being a student or graduate in a related field, OR relevant experience working with individuals living with neurocognitive disorders
- Familiarity with neurocognitive disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, and the person-centered approach
- Proficiency in English is an asset to provide verbal support to a non-French-speaking clientele representing approximately 40% of the Society’s clients
