Resources for Everyone!

I live with Alzheimer's

Living well with dementia means taking care of yourself and adjusting to your abilities as the disease progresses.

At the Alzheimer Society of Montreal, we are here to help you make the most of every step along the way.

Caregivers

Caregivers invest a lot of time and energy into caring for a loved one with dementia. We offer a range of services for caregives to help them better understand the disease, support the person they care for, and look after themselves.

Professionals

Health care professionals accompany people living with dementia and their families over a long period of time, from their diagnosis until the end of life stage of the disease. The Alzheimer Society of Montreal has a wealth of resources to help these professionals support them at each stage of the disease.

Business People

Business people can support their employees, members, or clients living with dementia in a number of ways. Help us build a community that is committed to facing the challenges and consequences of dementia.

Make a donation. Make a difference!

Each year, the Alzheimer Society of Montreal supports over 1,700 Montrealers living with dementia and their families. You can make a difference and ensure that our services are available in the future by making a simple donation.

Facts and Figures to Bear in Mind

A progressive disease with evolving needs

More than 125,000 Quebeckers live with Alzheimer’s disease or a related form of dementia, 33,000 of them in Montreal.

The number of people living with dementia in Canada is set to increase by 66% within the next 15 years and, as a result, the demand for our support, counselling, respite, and educational services is on the rise.

Raising awareness about the importance of fundraising is crucial if we are to be ready for the tsunami that awaits us.
